Jeanne Handke comes to the health freedom movement after facing several challenges to the healthcare choices of herself and her family. Her introduction to alternative forms of healing began with homeopathy and the profound healing experiences it provided to her son. These events not only introduced her to other modalities, but also the advocacy and education that accompanied it. These practices inspired her to become a board-certified massage therapist and Reiki Master. After receiving her Associate in Applied Science in Massage Therapy from Minnesota State College Southeast, she opened her business in Winona, Minnesota in 2010 which she currently operates with her daughter. She taught massage therapy as an instructor at Minnesota State College Southeast and continues to teach Reiki at her business.

 

Jeanne’s experience advocating for her family’s healthcare choices and the wishes of her clients have brought her into contact with the legal and political obstacles faced by those who choose alternative forms of healing. Along with her family, Jeanne continues to share her knowledge and inform others about the importance of healthcare freedom.
