As we emerge from another Independence Day, we are reminded of the powerful words that launched this nation: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. But what do these words mean if we no longer have the freedom to make personal health decisions? What will it mean for our children and grandchildren?
At National Health Freedom Coalition (NHFC), we believe the right to direct your own health journey is the most essential expression of independence. Yet that right is under daily threat—from expanding government mandates, to censorship, to attacks on practitioners, whether licensed or unlicensed, who offer alternatives to conventional care.
That’s why we’re asking for your help today. We must raise $50,000 by July 31st to continue our critical work educating and empowering citizens to protect health freedom in their own states.
Thanks to four generous matching grant donors—Ned Wuertz, Jerri and Steve Johnson, Spring Forest Qigong, and Hippocrates Wellness—every dollar you donate will be matched up to
$17,500, doubling your impact!
Health freedom IS independence. Health freedom means the ability to say yes to the healing path that works for you—and no to anything that doesn’t. It means having access to the practitioner of your choice, the remedy you trust, and the right to decline medical interventions without coercion or fear of losing your job, education, or access to public life.
NHFC plays a pivotal educational role in advancing health freedom by equipping citizen activists across the country with the tools and knowledge they need to influence public policy. We provide legal research, strategic coaching, and expert guidance to grassroots groups working to protect bodily autonomy and expand access to holistic care.
Our legal team also develops and updates model legislation based on years of experience, offering sound policy frameworks that states can adapt and introduce—such as:
Safe Harbor Practitioner Exemption bills, which protect the right of unlicensed complementary and alternative practitioners to offer services;
Right to Refuse bills, which defend bodily autonomy and protect individuals from coercive medical mandates;
Expanded Care Practice Act, which allows licensed practitioners to offer innovative treatments outside the prevailing standard of care when appropriately disclosed and consented to.
When citizen groups are ready to bring legislation forward, our sister lobbying organization, National Health Freedom Action (NHFA), is there to help them navigate the legislative process, draft bills appropriate for their state, and advocate for real, lasting change. Together, NHFC and NHFA form a powerful partnership that bridges education and action—turning concern into strategy, and strategy into momentum.
This is what change looks like.
With your support, NHFC will continue to:
Educate citizens about their health freedom rights and how to engage in the legislative process
Train grassroots leaders to make change in their state to protect health freedom
Defend the right to refuse unwanted medical procedures and preserve bodily autonomy
Support access to holistic healing, homeopathic remedies, and expanded medical practices
Challenge the misuse of “public health” to justify mandates and coercion
With the educational work of NHFC and the advocacy of our sister organization, NHFA, health freedom can be understood and protected.
Your donations create a stronger movement. NHFC offers education and support free of charge to state leaders, parents, and practitioners who are stepping up to defend health rights. But we can’t do it without your help.
A one-time gift of $50 becomes $100 with the match.
A recurring donation of $25/month adds up to $300/year—and counts as $600 thanks to our match!
Every dollar moves us closer to our $50,000 goal by July 31st.
Can we count on you to stand with us? The future of health freedom in America depends on ordinary people who refuse to be silenced. That’s the spirit of independence we’re honoring this July. Let’s protect that freedom—together.
With heartfelt gratitude,

Julie Booras, Lauren May Malis, and the team at National Health Freedom Coalition
P.S. Every donation made by July 31st will be matched up to $17,500! Let’s double the impact—and double down on health freedom.
