While 2022 saw continued attempts to infringe on our rights to make decisions about our own healthcare, NHFC is more determined than ever to work to protect our freedoms.
In spite of many great wins for health freedom in courts across the country, healthcare workers, teachers, students, firefighters, police officers, our military, state employees and many others are still being faced with coercive tactics aimed at getting them to acquiesce to medical mandates against their will. National Health Freedom Coalition stands against medical mandates and holds a vision for an America where all people make their own health decisions in an environment free of coercion!
NHFC Teaches and Coaches Citizens on the Legislative Process
As NHFC teaches citizens and groups across the country how to impact health freedom public policy, we are seeing a big surge in the number of people stepping up and getting involved. California Health Coalition Advocacy (CHCA) is a great example of a group that NHFC has worked with, preparing them to understand how to protect health rights in their state. They are now in a position to pursue introduction of bills which will protect bodily autonomy and civil liberties in the state of California.
NHFC attorneys meet with many groups like CHCA, coaching them on how to participate in the legislative process. We have responded to requests from Massachusetts, California, Vermont, Illinois, Ohio, Alabama, Oregon and more. Some citizens are concerned with practitioner rights to practice the healing arts. Other groups are concerned about mandates surrounding Covid. Once a group is ready to move forward, they often decide to pass a bill. That is the point where NHFC’s sister lobbying organization, NHFA, steps in and works with the group to move legislation. NHFC provides legislative research on bills in all 50 states and in the federal government on health freedom.
NHFC brings together leaders in the Health Freedom Movement

In September, NHFC hosted the 13th US Health Freedom Congress, bringing together 38 health freedom organizations and other trusted leaders from across the nation. After working together on collaboration and inspiration, the event culminated with Health Freedom Awards Banquet and a Keynote Speech by National Health Federation President, Scott Tips.
Eight Resolutions were submitted, discussed and endorsed by many members of the Congress on topics including vaccine rights, genetic privacy and EMF radiation. Two of the resolutions were drafted and submitted by our sister organization National Health Freedom Action:

Resolution 1: Model State Legislation for Genetic Privacy
Resolution 6: Right to Refuse Model State Legislation
One highlight of this years Congress was the premiere screening of the film Anecdotals: A compassionate exploration of the nuanced vaccine debate by Los Angeles filmmaker Jennifer Sharp, herself a victim of vaccine injury. NHFC was honored to be the first to screen this incredibly powerful and thoughtful film dealing with the epidemic of injury from the covid19 vaccine. This film now has been viewed by hundreds of thousands of people, including lawmakers.
NHFC is a Visionary Drafter of Model Health Freedom Legislation
We are a country of laws, and thus it matters what our laws say! NHFC attorneys are expert at visioning new legislation that adequately protects our inalienable rights as humans on the planet.
• Practitioner Right to Practice – Today, eleven states have safe harbor practitioner exemption laws
in place that ensure both the right to practice and consumer access to herbalists, homeopaths,
health coaches, and many others. We are hearing from people all over the country saying, “We want
to do this in our state!” Currently, Oregon, Connecticut, and Massachusetts have groups working
on similar policies. We were excited to see Wisconsin’s Complementary and Alternative Practices bill
successfully passed last year through the full Assembly and Senate – only to have it vetoed by Governor
Evers.

• Right to Decline Emergency Countermeasures – NHFC, along with our sister lobbying organization,
NHFA, launched Righttorefuse.org, a project hub to track state right-to-refuse legislation on an
interactive map. The Righttorefuse.org website supports the constitutional right of each person to
decline countermeasures such as testing, tracking and vaccination during a health emergency. 2022
showed amazing gains in the number of states getting involved in protecting their rights:
