Fearful Messaging is Immobilizing Communities
Due to Inaccurate Testing and False Positives
Release the fear. Turn off the messages.
The infiltration of fear within our communities is rampant. There are two messages that are intensifying the fear: Number one, hearing that massive numbers of people are testing “COVID Positive”. And number two, hearing that massive numbers of people are “dying of COVID”.
Many experts are questioning the RT-PCR tests that have been shown to be highly oversensitive. Many scientists feel that 50-80% of the positive results are actually false positives. (See below) Using a medical test with such a high number of false positives gets a fear message out to the public and creates hysteria. The effect of that message is to send healthy people home from work, including employees of schools, clinics, nursing homes, and hospitals, creating a shortage of workers for many situations. It keeps healthy people away from each other and their jobs, and breaks down healthy communications in families and in the community. Requiring a person who has received a false positive test result to isolate themselves is an unnecessary trauma, shattering many lives. We must listen to the scientists, doctors, and virologists who are speaking out about the lack of validity of the tests.
Stay-at-home orders for a mass population go even further: they require an entire population, not tested or diagnosed, to stay home from work, to close their businesses, and to possibly go into bankruptcy. They are forbidding people to be with their loved ones when they are dying, when they most need contact and comfort. Quarantine laws have always been in place for sick people. Stay-at-home orders are not quarantine laws. They are restrictions put on healthy people. These policies are immobilizing citizens with fear. They are causing unemployment, homelessness, despair and suicides.
Second, a campaign to insist that medical personnel report “COVID” on death certificates of persons who would otherwise have died for non-COVID reasons gets a fear message out to the public and creates hysteria. CDC guidelines instruct physicians to report a death as COVID death if: “the disease (Covid) caused or is assumed to have caused or contributed to death.” A person who died from other causes and who happened to be exposed to COVID should never be in a statistic for death from COVID. Over-inflated death statistics terrify people who may get a respiratory ailment and are afraid they are going to die. In addition, that messaging causes suffering for families that think their loved ones died from a novel reason as opposed to the reality that they died from the health concerns that they were already dealing with. People attending the sick are fraught with fear that there is a looming chance of death at every minute for their patient and for themselves.
Our public health systems should instead be focusing on people supporting each other and teaching people how they can strengthen their immune systems to protect themselves from infections they may incur.
Let’s not let inaccurate messages hold us in fear. Let’s get to work America in supporting each other in sickness and in health.
- Mercola: Asymptomatic ‘Casedemic’ Is a Perpetuation of Needless Fear, by Dr. Joseph Mercola, November 19, 2020, accessed online November 19, 2020. Many if not most laboratories amplify the RNA collected via PCR swab far too many times, which results in healthy people testing “positive” even if their viral load is very low or the virus is inactive and poses no threat
- Amplification over 35 cycles is considered unreliable and scientifically unjustified. Dr. Anthony Fauci has admitted the chances of a positive result being accurate at 35 cycles or more “are minuscule.” Yet the CDC, FDA and WHO all recommend using 40 to 45 cycles
- Recent research shows that to maximize accuracy, PCR tests for COVID-19 should use far fewer cycles. At 17 cycles, 100% of the positive results were confirmed to be real positives. Above 17 cycles, accuracy drops dramatically. By the time you get to 33 cycles, the accuracy rate is a mere 20%, meaning 80% are false positives
